Stand BF20L

One of the most important elements of the milling machine is it's stand, the chassis that supports the weight and absorbs the vibrations. Originally the Optimum BF20L has a "factory default" stand, but I didn't buy that one, but preffered to build one.
The structure is not bigger than 750 x 500 x 400 [mm], made from square pipes 50 x 50 [mm], and filled with sand. Normally this structure must be equal in weight with the machine itself, so if the milling machine has 115kg the the structure must have at least the same weight.
The pipes are drilled at the inside, so they can be easily filled with sand.
This is the structure after the first day of work, next step will be to weld the bottom joints, and the end caps for the top horizontal pipes.
Stay tuned for more information coming soon.
